Cycle Revolution

An exhibition celebrating the beauty of pedal-powered transport

We created the exhibition identity and exhibition design for Cycle Revolution at Design Museum London. Our work spanned all visual elements of the show. Graphic motifs for four ‘tribes’ of cyclist – determined by their tyre tracks – featured throughout. They told stories, guided visitors around the exhibition and adorned a range of merchandise in the Design Museum shop.

“An absolute belter. If you weren’t already in love with the world of cycling this exhibition will change that.”

We created a range of large format infographics to convey how cycling boomed across the globe. We also designed and produced an enormous interpretation table showing a world map of the most popular cycling cities.

We also designed a space that highlighted artisan frame builders in the UK. We made it look like a bike builders’ workshop.

Our range of Cycle Revolution merch came second in a national competition for best museum merchandise – pipped at the post by Ai Weiwei no less!
